If the offensive line gets whipped like they did last week he'll be doing a lot of that!

Does that mean throw to his recievers? JD needs to add this dimension to his game. Running too much like he does will make it really easy for UGA to defend. UGA's CBs are good enough to man up and allow the front 7 to keep JD in the pocket.

They will force JD to make throws. UGA believes he sucks at throwing and will scheme their defense accordingly.

He needs to throw his receivers open. Throw to spots with timing and precision. Prove UGA wrong.

What about the UGA crowd across the LOS from JD? How will JD handle that?

I really like the guy but judging from his performance against AM and Arkansas, sack, fumble or as his last resort, actually throw the fricking ball which lacy will drop

IF BK/Denbrock stick with JD next year, can they please adjust “the scheme” and prioritize novel Run Options to beat man-to-man without having to pass accurately (since JD struggles with that).

JD can run, maybe he’d like modern option run game? Hell, bring back the old triple option? Does Denbrock do any of that?

Well JD can pass against man coverage but freaks out against zone and just holds the ball. We have run a lot of zone read this year and it’s somewhat effective unless JD reads the DE incorrectly which resulted in the scoop and score last Saturday. The idea of triple option or something more exotic in the run option might work well though.

JD has a lot of talent but he limits what you can do in the passing game. That’s why we see all the 5 yard comebacks and check downs. Those are the passes he is comfortable with against zone coverage.

I wonder if he plans to throw deep. Maybe over the middle. Would prefer he pass first and run only as a last resort. I need to send a prayer to St. Jude.

Tbh after last weeks debacle, I’m more worried about our run defense than the offensive matchup and gameplan. If UGA is smart and actually watched the A&M tape they’ll run it 40+ times Saturday afternoon.

He needs to leave whatever's left of that ankle on the field, nothing to lose, everything to win.

Amending my prediction in the score pred to thead

I want to have a viable option as a backup. I guess that makes me part of the nus bus crowd.

When you have a guy at QB who runs as much as JD, it's simply prudent roster management to have someone ready to come in when the running QB inevitably gets hurt (which happened 3 times this season).

I have no problem with Nussmeier as the backup & if he is needed in this game.

The “nus bus crowd” I’m referring to are the ones that act like we have a better shot at winning this game with Nuss starting. It’s insane that we have “fans” that believe that
