Well he missed basically 14 games...we were 7-7 in those games. Seeing how most logical people considered him our 2nd best player, it sort of hurts. In those 14 games, if we won 3 more and were 10-4, we probably go to the dance. CJJ does suck, but injuries really did contribute to the team's performance, too

I said "should." I lose interest in seasons that go on forever, and so I've drifted away from the NBA and baseball.

And you realize that pro leagues are all about $$$$, not necessarily what's best for the interests of the game itself and the fans.

And, oh by the way, the NFL season is 17 weeks (16 games plus a bye). Then a month of playoffs, so 5 months.

College football is even less (13 weeks), a week of conference championship games, and then a month of bowls, so 4+ months.

College basketball's regular season is 3.5 months and then the tournament.

This is just the right amount of time. Going any longer dilutes the product. 82 NBA games makes most of them meaningless. They could still decide the division winners in half that amount. 162 baseball games??? Good god, that's the worst of all. Each one is utterly meaningless.
