The Student Section is having fun, they get the team pumped up, they make other teams make mistakes by making noise example 3 false starts right in front of them the noise they were making caused that. And did anyone think that if LSU didn't have students we wouldn't have a football team?

A large group of students actually say that now? My senior year at LSU, back in 07, a small group of people sat a couple of rows in front of me and they were the only ones who would do it. I hated them.

Love all the people who constantly complain bc someone in their section used a curse word around their kids, just like people who bring their strollers down bourbon street during mardi gras and are outraged by the lewd behavior of people.
Pretty simple, tell your kids beforehand that they are going to hear some stuff, that it is not appropriate for them to say, and get over it.

Whether or not somebody is ok with the students doing this, threads like this are like walking up to burning fire and throwing a cup of gasoline in it. There's a good chance that one of them visits this site, if not a group of them. They're gonna read how it disturbs the old farts and now they're gonna do it every time, just to troll.

I'm not being moral or judgemental about the students with this, as I was as bad as any of them.
But I remember Tiger Rag after scores, and we lost that. It sucks that we lose part of our tradition (and part of what makes Tiger Stadium so fun) whenever the band stops playing certain songs. I remember being shocked, then disgusted, the first time we had piped-in music instead of the band firing up.
Just saying, if the administration is posting in the Reveille that certain songs will be cancelled if something happens again, you guys might want to listen, and choose another bit of anarchy. Cuz you aren't gonna beat the administration
