Basically what im seeing is that people want us to keep Les based off what he did in the past. I don't think those people are watching LSU every Saturday and seeing how horrible we look. We're supposed to keep him and keep declining letting teams like Arkansas, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, and soon to be Florida pass us up?

It's stupid they want to settle for mediocrity because of fear. I use to fear the day Les would leave, but after the last few seasons it's time. Ww should have made tremendous strides from a year ago, and we haven't. We aren't even competitive in these losses. Not well coached any more. Or at least not prepared.

Agree. The talking heads on TV don't watch LSU on a weekly basis, year in and year out, to see the obvious lack of coaching and decline despite top notch recruiting classes. Players not developing on either side of the ball. People talk about Mack Brown, but Texas was in that position because they kept Mack too long. Much like Les, the decline was obvious 2-3 years before hand, and they waited. Well things got progressively worse, and they have not made it back. It was not firing Mack, it was waiting to long to let him go that did them in.

This is the perfect time to pull the trigger because we have a loaded team compared to other teams next year Miami, Texas, or USC didn't have that when they let their coach go

It's bc they don't view lsu with the detailed eye that fans do. They're just looking at Les and his body of work over the last 11yrs. The success in the first half of his tenure is skewing the statistics.

If they would look at his work from the second half of his tenure to now, they would understand where the fans and the administration are coming from.
But that wouldn't provide good ratings and good click bait....

The coach we had 5-10yrs ago was good for the type of football that was played ten years ago. Hence why he was kept and given an extension. The coach we have now is not. He is not being "fired" for what he did over the last 11yrs. He is being fired for what he's allowed over the last 3 years

all of the articles on facebook thats all people talk about...omg he won a NT he's won a ton of games!..hes the most successful coach at LSU all time!.. im like "do you watch the games?" they say no and I tell them to shut the frick up, you dont know shite.. the last 3 years says it all. Saban hadnt won a NT before he got to LSU, neither did Miles...Saban built it to what it is and Miles took credit for that work...No way miles builds the program from dumpster fire like the way saban did it.. Its not in a bad position now but it can get worse just like the way MAck Brown did Texas..get a successful coach in with a great offensive mind (I say Gundy) have him hire Bud Foster form VA Tech or Pruitt from Georgia (who wants out) and there you have it.. Your championship team is already in place...Keep Frank Wilson, BeBe and Raymond.

frick I should be an AD

Oh they are watching and seeing it, they just don't want it to stop. People love to see other people go through difficulty, and literally every single person out there who is criticizing LSU for the decision we might be about to make has a vested interest in seeing us fail. They're not ignorant, they just don't give a shite about LSU and are being self-serving.

Now as for the self-proclaimed LSU fans who are saying the same thing (and thankfully there aren't that many of them), I can only assume that their loyalty is not and never was to LSU, but only to Les Miles.
