I was just thinking the same thing. He's from Arkansas and graduated from Arkansas, with a stop at Meridian Community College in between. Other than playing us I don't know of a connection.

When anyone is referring to SEC baseball, they just say LSU....its pretty much the only thing that matters

This and the fact that Marrucci makes a lot of the Phillies bats are the only links I could find between LSU and the Phillies. That is the list of all the Phillies players (on the post season roster) who played D1 baseball.
