Met him tonight at Lombardi Awards. Very much a Tiger. Will make his way to BR someday. Really respects Pete Jenkins. Les screwed up 12 yrs ago. Talked about Mathis. He's excited about him.

Aside from being a traitor and a gump, sure he's a nice fella.

He tried to come to LSU 12 yrs ago. Les wasn't feeling him. He said LSU went after Burns hard, but Nick countered.

He was on staff under Sabes and in Les' first year. IIRC the company line was he went to the Vikings to coach indoors due to his health condition. Guess Les wanted to get Earl Lane's flawduh inspired dry rub technique in the building.

That's weird considering Miles hired him 12 years ago.

This thread is embarrassing

As a coach and player, Karl has been a great LSU ambassador

He wanted to come here, he loves LSU, but said Jenkins was here for another year.

So you really think he comes back once Pete call it quits? (Serious question)

I would love to get Karl back.

This is damage control. Dunbar is said to be the guy negatively recruiting against Jenkins. That's unforgivable.
