I mean he came in a highly touted 5 stars. Looking at him Saturday tells me he might not touch the field until 2023. Huge belly with small legs. It’s like he’s carrying twins out there. Very disappointed in him. Is it him, moffit, or Craig? This kid should be farther along.

Thomas is a perfect example of a kid who was over hyped by the recruiting services.

I'm not a giant fan of Moffitt, but if other guys are developing physically and one guy isn't, it's hard to put that on the coach and not the individual.

It's him. Obviously overrated. It happens.

I think his injury set him back a ton. Perks tho he has always come off as a highly optimistic guy. Hopefully he’ll pull it out.

lol i remember his tape and how he listed himself as an "athlete, not an OL". hopefully he pans out but the hype machine did more work than he has at this point.

Injury really hurt him
Then he got out of shape

Guillory hasn't shown much either
Out of shape, needs to lose weight

Both were beasts at one of those high school all star games, I think the one in San Antonio

You would think with potential earning power in the game they would figure it out at some point and not waste their talent

Lots of red flags on thomas looking back. He was always way too heavy on a relative short frame, listed at 6'2, more like 6'0. Also was pancaking 1A kids. It's much easier to take an undersized lineman and bulk him up than it is to get one to lose weight

This and I remember guys saying the same thing during his recruitment and getting killed for it.

He had a couple good camps and then shined against 165 lb DL while blocking for TDP

I hate to say it but I see him transferring before seeing him start here.

LSU fans love to buy the hype and never let it go

I will get downvoted for this but transferring would prob be the best thing for him. He needs to go somewhere and play. He needs to find a place that can focus on him and losing weight. He will never play pro ball as big as he is. If he went to a small school he could really be a star and maybe that would motivate him.

Thats why 247 dropped him to low 4star and the 14th ranked player in LA towards the end of his senior year

LSU fans crucified them for it. They shouldve dropped Sophser also because anyone without bias could have seen those 2 were overrated

Kid was a bully in high school and legitimately could be a good starter at guard if he was in any kind of shape.

His injury magnified his laziness I'm afraid.

He had mixed results in all star games/camps, but there were some that he did very well at against elite DL prospects.

Sometimes it's as simple as not giving enough fricks.

It’s hard for some guys to come back after injury. Appears to be the case here.

Have you ever heard of Chris Pettaway and we had a 5 star linebacker from up north who transferred out a few years back. Can't think of his name, probably because he never saw the field.

Kid had a terrible leg injury and packed on a ton of weight. Hasn’t been able to get back into decent shape
