You have become an auto downvote for me in the last two weeks. And well earned I might add.

Well put. Need to start viewing CFB with a completely different perspective.

This is a joke I hope? That couldn't even have realistic asperations of being a QB in Canada.

He's the 273rd ranked draft prospect and that's before many of the underclassmen declare.

He’s actually a good quarterback, has a lot of traits the NFL covets, some team will draft him.

I don't think the article "mocks" LSU, but it's fair to point out one team is trying to win and the other has starters who have quit on the season.

I hope this irritates the players we do send, and embarrasses the ones who declined to play. This game still counts on the record books, if they skulldrag us, they get a win against LSU. Not "a group of backups", but LSU.

12th rated QB. There were 10 QBs taken last year, 13 in 2020, 11 in 2019, 13 in 2018. Most of those late picks never make it past a practice squad.

I'd wager that Skylar never starts a NFL game.

It is a reasonable position to conclude that LSU players in large part are mercenaries and, as such, don’t give a damn about this game.

Incorrect. They care about this game too. The game of football. They see it differently than you because they actually have a role to play in this game. The day after this meaningless game you'll go back to driving a truck but they'll have to deal with the consequences of playing or not in a worthless bowl game.

I’d wager that he starts before Brennan

I have had Kansas State fan after Kansas State fan tell me this is their Super Bowl to play LSU. They claim their football team will come out with a Super Bowl feel, a particular mentality which will give them the much needed edge. I told every one of them it does not matter.

This is so off target. If this bowl game is meaningless so is just about every game this team has played. Every time the team tees it up is a real game to anyone with integrity. Most of these players will not have a pro career and none of these games “mean” anything in the real world. And if you opt out? How can any of them mean anything?

They don't care about this bowl game. Right or wrong.

Those truck drivers are what gives these players the platform to make money. It doesn't make a lot of sense to take a position against fans if you are a player.
