Good for him. He could have been great but I think tiger land got the best of him.

Awesome, that part about Chavis had me cracking up. I can totally picture the seriousness in his facial expression when he said that.

Even though he did have sex with my gf at the time I have forgiven him. Feels good to be Eskimo brothers with a Super Bowl champ.

Said that Coach Chavis is really serious and rarely if ever smiles or even talks. Said the other day Miles, during a coaches' meeting, was cracking jokes and laughing and Chavis looked at Vincent and said, "Why am I here?"

I can totally picture this.

I really hated him for being at Bogies every night and letting his career go to shite, at the expense of my fav team. He was so good, just couldn't stand him wasting that talent.

Sounds like you take football way too seriously.

He must save his voice for climbing up player's arses in practice. He wasn't at a loss for words when DJ let YM get thru him in this drill...

That's weird I thought I saw him headed east on I-12 in a beat up old white car yesterday morning.

I've met JV before. Was just a regular guy. It was in a small setting and he pretty much kept to himself. I'd heard so much about him, but it wasn't like anything I'd heard.

The 2002 relay teams improved from yours. Are you aware that Barbe HS still holds the Class 5A record in the 4x100? The time is 40.78 and it has not been challenged. JV, Murphy, BMill,& Ivan. Augustine subbed for Murphy in the 4x200 and Barbe won easily in 1:26.34

I recall when you went to NW. Best regards.

Or that JV didn't????

Seriously though, Justin Vincent seems like a great guy. I see him on the sidelines, and I saw him at a baseball game this year, my kids went up and talked to him. He was very gracious in speaking and clowning around with the kids. I wish him the best of success!

Great read. Thanks for sharing Chris. No doubt JV is a fine representative of LSU. He's purple and gold to the core.
