Do you know how many coaches' agents are calling Alleva/Taf right now with LSU being open? We will have our pick of several amazing coaches. Just let it happen...,

I can promise you that every SUCCESSFUL HC agent is calling hoping to get their client a raise at the least.

you really are naive'. these days, just about every (hell every one I know)college has to go through multiple coaches before they get one. hell Tejas was turned down several times. we live in a time of buy outs, most programs paying almost the same and all kinds of complications.

Texas got Strong who had anazing resume. Just because he hasn't won titles doesn't mean they didn't get a great coach.

I'm a believer in Charlie Strong. He's done well rebuilding Texas. That cupboard was not stocked when he arrived and then there was an ascension of A&M, Baylor, and TCU programs.

Every agent will call LSU. It's their job. Even if a coach doesn't want it. They get a sense of their worth at the very least. There's no downside.

Not saying LSU won't get some options. But it's more about who LSU wants rather than who calls LSU.

Actually it's on Brown. Dude kind of cruised into his golden years and forgot to keep recruiting great players.

Doubtful this administration and its big donors will do anything to improve on what we had. Alabama's the closest thing to holding a dynasty over CFB, and it's silly to think LSU will overthrow that beast. The REC is 10x more committed to their program, and our so-called know-it-alls with a few bucks in their pockets will ruin this hire, too.

I've watched LSU football for over 50 years and there's rarely been a decent run of over 3 years without major bumps in the road....major....losing seasons....bad recruiting...shitty coaches....good coaches with no desire to remain long-term - you name it. We are a spoiled and too proud fan base now -no better than some other fan bases we all like to criticize.
