Just think what our D would be like if Beckwith had started vs. Wisconsin

Beckwith got his 1st start 7 games into the season in our 30-27 road win over Florida. Instantly, our Defense regained its edge and looks more and more like the defenses we are used to. He had a big game vs. OM and I look for him to have another big game tomorrow.

But... but... but... He "wasn't ready." He must be struggling in practice. By not playing him, Les Miles told me so. He also had a bad half once.

Oh, wait, this thread isn't about Brandon Harris. Dang.

I feel like since he has been in there, the defense has gotten its swag back. I believe we would have beatin miss st. Beckwith would have shut down that running game.

Haven't you heard - No more woulda, coulda, shoulda.

Glass half full says - he has fresher legs and is not nicked up so maybe the D is better now than if he had played all year. (hard to weigh the experience vs. physical toll factors in this particular instance.)

Rasco trucked his blocker in that GIF. He wasn't doing that earlier this season.

94 Hunter made a nice play in containment and then making the RB turn up field into Beckwith.

The guy played and made mistakes as well. You guys act like only welter took every snap until the Florida game. Hell there were times neither were on the field. Imagine that.

What's funny though is the game bekcwith and Harris started seeng mire pt, we get our arse stomped by auburn. Maybe they weren't ready.

Beckwith did play and didnt look much better than Welter at times. He just needed some experience, its clicking with him now.

oh great, another "I know more than the coaches do about player selection" thread. and to make it even worse, you even go back 7 games and attempt to rewrite history.

I still couldn't believe he stopped that guy short of the third down. I was so confused, in the good way

We'd be better, but WE'D HAVE LOST THE WISCONSIN GAME!

Love the way you think you know more than the coaches.

Shows coaches are never immune from making dumb mistakes. It happens.

Get this, the coaches were so comfortable with a green DJ Welter starting last season and Lamar Louis backing him that they moved Beckwith to DE.

Yikes....yikes
