What category storm were they when they made landfall? Here's a hint, it wasn't 5.

And what CAT was Matthew when it hit Florida?

Oh, wait?

I hope everyone going to the game from here is stocked up and wont need anything from the store over there! Or gas or anything like that!

Thanks for making my point

BR hosted a game after hurricanes passed on each side of the city. And we think Gainesville cant do it, before we even know if the storm will make landfall

Dunno. What did BR do 2 days after Rita passed thru?

It's really not "the very same". And it's been explained ad nauseum why it's not. I (and presumably many others) have no skin in the game as I was planning on and am going out of town this weekend anyway and believe Lsu will win no matter where it's played. It just seems like a logistical nightmare and one that puts a lot of people at risk. If that's something UF is willing to do, so be it.

Its not the same

Our situation was way worse. 2 hurricanes. One game already moved. 2nd game delayed.

But we did it anyway

That hasn't happened yet.

I was asking a question about the title of your thread.

You are incorrect saying they made landfall as a cat 5.

How is it the same call? Fla is refusing to make a decision to move the game. LSU postponed the game until Monday night.

Also, Rita had very little effect on BR other than heavy rains. We were completely back to normal come Monday after the storm.

Starting a thread on something you've already been owned on in another?

Seems like doubling down on stupid. But whatever?

The word landfall is not in my title. Both hurricanes were CAT 5 storms, and this one is not

Yet we saw a CAT 5 storm coming, and did not move the Tenn game
