The Beavs are in Louisiana. (Best thing about this is the video of Darwin Barney's Walk Off Homerun the other night for the Cubs.)

and....

Somehow,I think Belmont might be getting a little irritated at everyone talking about LSU vs OSU.

Have a great time if you are are going to the game. I get to miss the telecast for work, but will be checking in constantly on the internet.

That comment was noted on the Pure Orange baseball message board. The discussion then veered completely away from baseball to airplanes and lift vs humidity.

I would like to cordially invite you to join us on the "in game threads" here on the Rant during the games. The in game threads are great to follow the action, discuss the coaching decisions, complain about the umpires, gripe about the lsu radio play by play broadcast, request the firing of LSU's third base coach/hitting coordinator, and view nearly naked girls with every strikeout thrown by an LSU pitcher.

LSU, South Carolina the last 2 years, and UGA in 90. That's it for the SEC as far as national titles. Historically the PAC is the best.

The last 3 years the SEC has won. Outside of that though UGA has one title. No one else has won outside of LSU. How many guys on here rip USC for being the only good team in their conference in football? LSU baseball prior to the last 2 seasons = USC football earlier in this century when everyone called it the PAC 1.

Kinda hypocritical don't you think?

Thanks for the invite. I have a second job which allows me to probably watch the entire game on television.

The problem I have discovered many years ago, no matter what I am watching, be it sports or whatever, at the ABSOLUTE most important moment, somebody calls and wants to book a tee time. (You can play in Oregon until about 9:15pm these days.)

In 1997 LSU played Alabama in the National Championship game. In 1998 4 SEC teams made it to Omaha. In 2005, Texas beat Florida in the Championship Series. In 2008, or whatever year Fresno won, they upset Georgia in the Championship Series. Last year, USC beat Florida in the Championship Series.

The SEC is much deeper than one or two teams.
