He seemed much more comfortable in that drive, they upped the tempo.
He got ball out to 5 different guys in the drive.
He ran for 2 big 3rd down conversions, the first he could have just have easily slid short, but instead dove ahead for the first down.
Second one, he got out of bounds after 18 yards.

Had poise and was tough, made correct throws.

The play where announcers kept taking about how open 15 was, was a 2 step fade to corner of the endzone, hopefully that's the end of that play for the season, very low percentage play.

LF7 and Left tackle whiffed on the sack, that was crucial bc we had to burn final to.
Kid gave is a chance at end and delivered a great pass and great catch.

I believe with that tempo moving forward we'll see much improved offensive play.

the WR's HAD to get out of bounds and they couldn't do it... etling played great late though.

Dural caught one for 8 yards in au sideline that cost us several seconds.
That was really only one I saw I'd like to have had back

Agreed, the guy continues to look poised, makes good decisions, and is leading the team. Last drive showed we have the capacity to make those plays for a GW score, and with better clock management (players and coaches) we win that game. DE is only going to get better, and I'm glad he'll be back next season. GT!

It was wild how much more comfortable he looked on that drive compared to the other drives throughout the game.

LSU has always looked better as an offense when we go up tempo

I have no idea why Miles never did it more

The offense usually moved well when there was urgency behind it

Last drive

5/9 41 yards passing

rest of the entire game

10/16 77 yards

Up tempo def helps all of our QBs. Which is why we dont run it

I had to watch the game replay yesterday and when we got to the final play I paid particularly close attention and had some questions. Ref said before teams lined up the clock starts on my signal. I never saw a signal. Also game clock started but 25 sec clock did not until one second later... What was the signal to the players that the game was live and it was time to snap it?

Without a whistle I'm not sure if you can get play off in one second

I get what your saying but that didnt cost us the game. Hell they really were not even ready for that 1 second play and were still scrambling to line up. They should have already been lined ready to go when the offical placed the ball down. There was plenty of time to get set while the officals discussed the illegal motion penalty.

In my eyes, what cost them the game was after the first down slant pass there were 54 seconds on the clock. They didnt snap the next play until 34 seconds left on the clock. (Casually called the play, casually lined up, no urgency)

Thats 20 seconds wasted right there because Les doesnt have situational awareness. If they still had those extra 20 seconds then maybe Les still has a job.

Considering he was probably half-concussed, Etling did alright minus the unforced fumble where he just drops the ball!

Well now we should see a lot more uptempo and by that I don't mean toss dive then run up to the line fast to toss dive again.
