OP, the solid white looks better but you're not going to be happy with it hand painting it. Two options.
1. If you know someone that has a Cricut machine, get them to cut the letters out in vinyl decal.
2. Go down to Harbor Freight and get you a $30 airbrush kit. Stencil letters and air brush it. It'll be nice and smooth.

Cricut machine is the way to go if you can't find the logos in the colors you need.

Not criticizing at all, op. Just passing along info. Harbor Freight is a gold mine for little things like this. I picked up an air etcher from there and used it to etch a couple of yeti cups with great results. It's insane what people will charge to put logos on those things.
