Just imagine if Les would agree to spread it out a little...

...and give offensive control to some up and comer. I know a head coach feels like the man in charge...but somehow I don't think Bobby Bowden was as instrumental in installing offenses in his later years as he was before. All he's got to do is get an OC who has innovation, and let him install the offense. (Most coaches are control freaks...i.e.....Saban damn sure controls his defenses...) But, I think Saban gives a bit of "free reign" to Kiffen as long as it works. Miles doesn't seem to want to let go or change. If he would do so, and let some innovative OC install the offense, then there's no reason why we couldn't be great under his direction. Les could be HC..motivator....recruiter...friend....etc..all that he shines at, yet we'd have an offense that wasn't from the 80's. I guess, like Saban, he just can't relinquish that type of control. I dunno.

Where's the discipline? Where's the coaching on all the penalties? Where's the in game adjustments? Where's the clock management? Who calls the timeouts?

When are you people going to realize that the head coach is responsible for the whole team? It isn't going to matter who the offensive or defensive coordinator is. Les Miles is the problem.

Can't disagree with this. If Miles can't "cure" the dumb shite, he needs to hire somebody who can. He makes plenty of money to do so. I dunno....just wish we could keep him as a "Nominal" head coach, and have some great people surrounding him doing the dirty work....

I'm imagining myself in a threesome with Maria Sharapova and Eliza Dushku. It's not bad either.

He's had that. They're called defensive coordinators.

ANYONE that has watched LSU the last 5 years and states that our offense has looked capable, smooth, coordinated, poised is kidding themselves. Every snap I hope we get it off in time. Please someone do a chart on timeouts called per halve--how many and when they were called. I would bet we lead the
nation in using timeouts by time taken.

Look Les had a good run but we suck on offense. LF,
Jeremy Hill, OBJ, Mett, Jarvis they saved us from totally sucking but we are the opposite of well oiled machine.

No coach would tolerate our offensive dysrhythmia.
No coach would tolerate our penalties.
Combine that with ST play lately and we are fortunate we are 7-3.

He's had plenty of time to improve the offense and hire whatever hotshot coordinators he pleased!!! He chose to hire and rehire his best friends after they failed at their previous jobs. The last few years are on Les Miles. And now you expect him to spend his last couple years coaching with some young hotshot coordinator who he's not allowed to take control over? Get real.. Just let him retire with his dignity and his 60 MILLON dollars LSU will have paid him including his retirement pension.

If you think he should be given another year to make changes... How do you know he wasn't warned before and given multiple chances already to clean up this shite sandwich of an offense????
