Just heard Bruce Feldman of Fox Sports on XM

He basically said that Greg Sankey blew it. There was precedent for moving the game either to another location or push back a day or two and he froze. Said there was no excuse for the SEC to not have a contingency plan in place.

This needs to be aired out for every sports fan to see. The ENTIRE SEC should be pissed off about the bad precedent being set right now that teams can cancel without any penalty.

I'd hope we get as many BR people (whether that be LSU personnel or just local media) onto national radio shows as possible to really cause a big stink over this.

Bruce is way more respected than McMurphy could ever dream of so this is a definite positive for LSU.

Foley made a total bitch out of Sankey and exposed him as a weakling, blood in the water now.

Sankey did not freeze. He simply dropped to his knees in front of Foley. JA said Sankey was part of the discussion when playing else where came up & when Foley absolutely refused to move the game, "he did not join the argument". For every excuse Foley gave, S.Carolina made it happen last yr. Same exact situation.

Exactly. Sankey is scared of Foley and Foley didn't want his banged up team to play LSU this weekend. Simple as that.

Sure sounds like Sankey is in over his head as SEC Commissioner and is underperforming. Look, many people get promoted to management roles, and deservingly so, to only find out 6 months to a year later they just don't have what it takes to lead a group of people. They then get transferred out of that position. Sankey sure resembles this narrative.
