Just got my Florida tickets

Never been for a game. Have been on campus off season. What should I expect? Is there any must do or see while in Gainesville?

I'm a tiger fan who's stationed about two hours north of gainesville and go down there regularly. It's not to awful but it's not great. I've been to a couple of the gator games and there fans are pretty shitty. I got tickets and looking for some fellow tiger fans to tailgate with

By far the worst away game experience you'll have. You are better off going to a bar and tailgating. Do not step foot on campus with anything but water to drink.

Expect to hide your beer like you've never had to do before or you'll spend the night in a Gainesville jail. That place is a shithole. Represent well because most Tiger fans won't even go there anymore. Place sucks.

I thought Gainesville was cool, for the most part. We paid to park on this dude's lawn, and we partied there until the game started. It was a good time, and the people there were totally cool and hospitable to us. UF has a nice campus. The talent is nice also.
Before the game, Gator fans were totally cool. Afterwards (we lost), I can see why they have the reputation that they have.

I'm going too but with some Florida fans so I hope it'll be less shite since I'm with them
