Texas A&M is proud of their seats, $100 a pop
Auburn $85
Florida $70
Arkansas in Fayetteville $55
I get the feeling A&M is going to ride SEC hysteria to the bank

And is the most coveted away game ticket of 2012 for LSU fans.

That's the best deal ever, First game in Fayetteville in forever and they only charge $55? I will try my best to go to that one

not as fun as you think.

We'll see if the demand for tickets is in the $100 range once we hit late October. I'm guessing not. Does anyone have any idea where A&M sits the visiting fans? Pretty inconsistent to the away games I've been to. For example, Row 2 on the 35 yard line for Tennessee last year and two rows from the top of Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Agree. Gainesville was my least favorite. I didnt make Arkansas, Miss St, Kentucky or Vandy but of the ones I went to Florida was my least favorite.

Me too, but I graduated in May now I have to buy full priced tickets . should have spent more time in Bogies and less time in class so I could have taken a victory lap

I always have a great time just at the bars/restaurants on West University...a stone's throw from The Swamp.

i went to the Texas at A&M game and they only gave the visitors 4000 tickets and scattered them all over the place. I would say half at least were in the top of the end zone upper deck. I think they will give LSU 6000 tickets.

That's what I did and it was well worth it for student tickets to last season's games. Almost got to go out like I started in 2007 too. Not looking forward to having to pay a small fortune to have the right to a seat in DV.

Going to A&M, Auburn, and Florida. Can't wait!

I'm pretty sure SEC by-laws require 7000 minimum visitor tickets. Dosen't A&M put lots of visitors in two sections lined up behind the EZ with a lateral view of the field ? I've heard they are the worst seats of all time. Glad LSU will soon be moving many visitor seats from the lower SEZ corner to the new upper deck, we've been far too generous for way too long.

Went to the Swamp in '04 when Addai scored with 30 seconds left and we won 24-21. We were trailing the whole game and got the ball back around midfield with about 90 seconds left. Marcus randall engineered a great drive and Addai picked up almost all of the yards including the last 10 on a screen pass. We had a lot of fun and no problems at all plus florida gives LSU/away teams good seats - no upper deck nosebleeds like at auburn !

the SEC requires 7,000 visitor tickets and the Big 12 4,000. The compromise with A&M was 6,000
Posted on 6/4/12 at 7:40 pm to austintexastiger
Then why not 7? why compromise when they're an sec team?

Somehow I didn't get credit for THREE frickin away games this past season, so I don't even know if I'd get any tickets if I requested 'em. The fricktards in the ticket office are some sneaky bastards and apparently you can only dispute this for a week after the game. I didn't notice it until I went to order BCS tix and couldn't bc I didn't have enough points. Sucked because I went to five away games too and should've had one of the highest priority point totals. Who the hell checks their student ticket profile to see if their points went through? Sonsa bitches. Yes I'm mad.
