I think (hope) tiger stadium will welcome this fine group of musicians next Saturday. Think about this.....The JSU band began their LSU experience by being forbidden to perform at halftime. Then, after considerable pressure from many, Alleva had to back down from his ridiculous policy. So, what did the JSU band do? They thanked all parties for the opportunity to perform in tiger stadium followed by a tribute to the flood victims in Louisiana. Class act!!!

Not a lot of similarities between the JSU band and the Jackson State band. Also not a lot of similarities between the football teams. Jackson State was 3-8 last year in the easiest conference in FCS. Jacksonville State however was the runner up in the FCS playoffs. Looking forward to the trip to Baton Rouge. I hope all of you have been safe during the flooding.

For all those that normally don't care about Band or Half-Time, please stay in your seat and watch the JSU Marching Band. They're probably the best overall college marching band in the country.

Only problem is, I heard that our friends in the LSUAD are at it again and are going to make all the visiting bands play to the EAST side away from the home crowd, because they might "Risk" getting injured having to walk all the way back around to their seats from the West sidelines. Really dumb and stupid!
