Said it several times here, including last week. Conditioning and consistent technique are issues for him. If he plays consistently then he's a dominant player. However, when not playing with proper technique, you can get blown up or beaten. When that happens, you hook a guy and when that happens, flags get thrown.

He is inconsistent, and at this point, Tehuma is an 18 year old who can be just as dominant. So why not take the inconsistency while investing in a future that will be dominant and get him early experience?

If Boutte can't play with consistency and sink his hips and play with leverage, penalties and missed assignments may help to make Tehuma's play more regular.

Lid you re watch some of the game he is slow and not explosive off the line. I think he was matched up against jones some but he got thrown back a few time and he weighs 340.

What happened? I usually don't pay attention to individual OL men.

Looked like he just got pulled but perhaps it was just a "nick". Either way I bet M Teuhema starts against Auburn. Miles said Teuhema was in the top 6 OLs before the McNeese game. Despite the "rant" raving about Josh I think he may have gotten the nod from limited experience in the first game compared to none. Josh will get another chance and can still be a major contributor this year.

This was more on the fault of the coaches. Wasn't it Frank Wilson or somebody like that who pumped him up to high heaven? I'd rather Teuhema play myself early and often. We can build the depth up here and for the future.

He needs to get to 34o. He's all over 360 by eyeball test. Either way he needs to lose some weight
