I'm not completely sure that was a fair contest. Not that he was a pitcher before, but he was a major league baseball player (albeit briefly).

No, no it couldn't. RA Dickey was a first round pick as a pitcher who made the switch to being a knuckle baller when his career started to flounder. It took him 5+ years to become productive at all.
The show lasted about a week and josh booty is 38 years old. It aint happening in that time frame. It was a dumbass idea for sure

Yeah that pitch is just so hard to learn. You need a LOT of time.
I actually did watch the show. After Perrilloux got cut, Wakefield and Millar were trying to convince him to try and make a run at becoming an outfielder professionally. That would be an interesting story if he pursued it
