Lee has topped that in 4 games.

56 of 87 for 624 yds. 6 TD's and 1 INT.

JJ gives us that mobile QB threat that drives the opposing DCs nuts trying to stop ... and they gotta plan for that every game against LSU.

yea opposing defenses were just terrified to face us the last two years. No one was able to slow that mobile qb threat offense down

So lets throw out any stats before 2011 and JJ still doesnt look that bad with 4tds in one game.

JJ hasn't played a single down with "this team." Let's talk about JJ and his potential when he has proved himself with this team.

What happened with the last team is pretty worthless.

Agreed. JL got this benefit fo the doubt with this team. No reason JJ shouldn't also get it.

Not to mention that it is tough to compare these games given that half of those JJ starts were at home and three of Lee's starts were on the road/neutral fields against highly ranked teams.

Yeah. I am skeptical of messing with the offense right now but i have been wrong before and am willing to wait and see like everyone should before going ape shite.

I have doubts but hope for the best.

No. He lost his benefit when he chose to engage in questionable behavior. Sorry.

I don't like the idea of shuffling QBs in and out. Stick with the guy who is playing well right now.

The only people going nuts right now are the JL guys who have finally gotten their chance and will stop at nothing to keep it. Same guys who didn't want to see Mett play a snap against NWST. Same guys who don't want to see JJ come in and run a series or 2 and give the defense a different look when needed.

The screams of insecurity are deafening.

it was a joke, you said 2011, we played jan 2011.

I agree about diff team. so JJ should be back on the team, and he should play if he is needed down the stretch. Do you not agree with that?

idk im sure the first 5 games he plays it will be analyzed to a T. that is if he even plays 5 games.

Still my statement holds true and he didnt regress like a lot of people are saying.

I'm in this camp, sorry.

It's not a different look. We have running backs who run well and a quarterback who is completing around 65% of his throws. There's no need for another look.

We are doing just fine on offense. We don't need to mess with what we already have.

no it screams of everything we've had to sit through the last few years, the atrocious qb play, the stagnant offense, the bonehead clock management issues. We finally have something enjoyable to watch, we finally have a competent qb that can get plays off in time and people dont want to see us regress and go back to same shite we've seen when JJ was the leader of this offense.

While it's hard to argue with the success, I think we've definitely been in some spots where we could've benefitted from a mobile qb. And the defenses are only going to get tougher this year.

Again, I'm not saying JJ should take his job. Lee has earned it.
