Just because we have no one better is not a reason to excuse his performance.
What's wrong with his performance? He was statistically better than Flynn in 07.

Sounds like stuff he says in post game comments

You forgot how many sacks he took... you cant always blame the o line.. Just like the last drive against ole miss... 2nd down we are in field goal range and he drops back and takes forever to throw it and almost gets sacked... 3rd down he ran around back there forever and got sacked.. Dont wanna hear that shite

Correct me if I am wrong, didn't we set a record for points scored in 2007. LSU record?

Flynn threw for 4 more TD's than JJ.

And four more INT's.

Why were we even throwing the ball?

Did Jefferson call the play?

IDK you would think coaches see he just doesnt have it upstairs. Maybe they had false confidence that in that late in season he would know to throw it away

So Flynn's stats are probably smaller than they would have been because we ran the ball more. Wouldn't you agree?

It's not an apples to apples comparison.

And yet, could not put up Jefferson numbers. . .with that OL. . .and that running game. . .and those WR's. . .

Jordan Jefferson is not close to:

Rohan Davey
Matt Mauck
JR
Matt Flynn

Not even in the same realm...
