The crazy thing about this run was that a week before, my friend from high school died in a tragic car crash with three others going back to houma from the lsu game at night. My friend was the starting QB of Vandebilt High and one of the other guys with him was the starting safety. These kids were great. If you remember before the game they had a moment of silence for the four. Then it just so happens that the first play of the game, the QB number 9,(which my friend TJ was the QB and number 9 of Vandy) breaks free for an 80 yard touchdown. It was pretty emotional.

I remember that, I work with a bunch of guys from that area. It was very tragic, it is sad to see young folks like that pass away.
I was tough for me to lose my parents when I was younger but for parents to lose their children at such a young age, I can't imagine.

Damn rewatching that game made me sick.
We know we have become spoiled when winning an SEC game on the final play makes us sick and not elated.
i actually took it a step further and watched the highlights from every game last year. and I will admit. It made me literally sick to my stomach reliving those gut busting moments. It seems like every game was a nail biter,
I dont think my heart can stand another season like last years. I am glad we won all of those games but
Ole Piss
North Carolina
West Virginia
Tennessee
Alabama
Auburn
Florida
Were all close calls and game was decided in the final minute.
Then we played bad against teams like Vandy and ARKY.
I hope we can win all of these close games again but bottom line we should have beat the crap out of most of teams.

I listened to the VOL announcers during the final seconds. The first thing they said after learning that LSU would get an extra play...let's see if Les Miles can win in spite of himself.

Yeah because that next to last play of the game wasn't the biggest clusterfrick in the history of LSU.

This has been said a lot. The problem is we dont play in a conference where you will just blow everybody out. Bama had some close calls in 09, they won it all cus they pulled the close ones out too.
Same with auburn this year.
