Jones himself has said we need to add some guys to the interior.
Of course we do! But I think this team even as is (though I think we will have another big man on the roster before school starts) should be able to compete to be a top 4 or so team in the SEC and have a chance at a tourney birth.

Hell S, if CJJ gets us to the early 90s style of Dale Brown and underachieves with good talent in the NCAA's, its still an improvement.
Glad to see Johnny promoting the program.

yea he has won me over by the work he and the staff have been putting in. wasn't a fan of the hire or the search but they've won me over and got me excited again.

My exact feelings as well. I told myself that I guess the old guard backed Alleva into a corner after one of 'his' guys failed. The pressure was probably too much to avoid. However, I have been really pleased with the work CJJ has put in and also assembling a great staff. I love being excited for basketball again.

eesh... man. I hope. But Florida, Mizzou, Tennessee, and Kentucky are WAY better than us. Alabama is definitely better too. It'll really rest on Morgan and Coleman IMO on how far we go. We know what we have in O'Bryant and Hickey. Godfrey will have to contribute at least at a Warren level as well.

I think we can compete for a 7 or 8 seed at the most. Honestly our biggest downfall last year was offensively. Our best offense last year came when we pushed the ball. Think of our best plays, Hickey blows by the D for a lay-up, Hickey drives inside and dishes to the perimeter for a 3, or Hickey lobs one up to J-ham , Storm , or JOB . Johnny is going to have us pushing for quick baskets which is what I love.
Here's Godfrey giving his persuasive speech.

Sounds like a winner to me

We need to find another big man from somewhere and I wouldn't mind Charles Carmouche either.

I still have mixed emotions but at this point I've decided to flush my doubts and support as best I can.
Two things that will get me to stand up and cheer:
1) The first time we double the post on defense.
2) The first time one of our players is held accountable for bad shot selection.

But seriously, we just need a big body down low for teams to have to work against. But JOB is pretty much our man right now.

I'm sure Del Piero is a nice kid and I don't want to run down an LSU guy trying his best but he's easily the least talented walk-on I've seen at LSU in basketball.

I'm pretty sure CJJ will be on bad shot selection. At least I hope.
Pterodactyl Trent never did anything during games and it pissed me the frick off. I'll never forget coming out of time-outs and getting 5 second inbound calls. I won't miss Trent one bit.

What do you mean least talented? Trent was doin work

Can't believe I watched the whole thing. I laughed a few times, but it really wasn't that bad. He was obviously nervous, I don't think he stood still for more than a nanosecond. Hope hes ready to play, we don't have a big bench haha

The whole thing was a joke I thought? Regardless, I'm not going to base his ballin' skills off of that.
