Your post is nothing but an attack on Simmons masquerading as a puff piece about how nice a man Jones is. Pathetic dude and very easy to see through. You're gonna sit there talk about class and love for LSU while bashing an 18 year old who held this team together and put up rare numbers for LSU. Never mind your basketball ignorance the fact you blame a kid for a grown mans faults says a lot. I bet you were one of those fans who thought this years teams would be better than last years and make a tourney run lol.

last post....I agree that JJ had to go.....never argued against it-just like Mac. Simmons was an albatross and no matter who was at the helm the result would have been the same. They compared him to Magic Johnson, except when Kareem when out with an injury in the 7th game against the celtics, magic played center and scored 42....a search party would have had to find simmons in the same situation...he wanted no part of the ball when the game was on the line.

Since win is college basketball 1 on 1? It takes 5 at a time to win games.

To those of you who say complimentary things about a Johnny Jones, Kudos to you. The personal attacks on him were beyond the pale. Yes, he was correctly let go because of performance on the court, but he never embarrassed LSU and he handled himself with dignity.

Totally agree here my point was the OP used blowing sunshine on Jones to lure ppl into the thread so he could just bash and rip Simmons. Pretty pathetic.

2 years in a row Anthony Davis hasn't made the playoffs in a league where more than half the teams get in. You don't hear anybody calling him an albatross. lol some of our fans couldn't be more stupid.
