Great recruiter, bad coach, consistent underperformance and no player development? Discuss.

If LSU football was this bad we would have a new coach.

Miles' staff and the teams he puts on the field > Jones and his staff

Johnny Jones is much much worse than Mile. Johnny Jones doesn't belong anywhere near a college program on any level.

Stop with the Dale and Les comparisons. It's an insult to both. Those guys have won big in their careers. Jones has never won anything. 16 years as a HC and he has NEVER won a reg. season conf title or NCAAT game.

People act like Les has fielded a career of 7-6 teams.

Miles squanders wayyy more talent and opportunities. Manieri as well. There shouldn't be any expectations for basketball anytime soon.

LSU has the worst collection of coaches for the level of talent it has on hand. That's a direct reflection on Alleva. Pitiful situation for a talent rich athletic program.

The question of replacing a coach always relies on the anticipation of success in the future. Past performance does not guarantee future results.

That said, Miles has at least had two national championship appearances and conference titles. That's at least proof that he was capable of that level of success at some point in his career.

Johnny Jones has none of that past success to point to when discussing his ability to have future success.

Jones should be coaching for his job for the rest of the season, if he survives that far.
