I actually think grimes has done a great job and think we have a very tough offensive line. I think the scheme miles ran made his job a lot harder plus he's a hell of a recruiter

Hey, Grimes recruited who he was told to recruit. He gets his stuff done early and recruits fairly well.

It's not his fault Miles wanted to concentrate on guards rather than legitimate tackles.

I think you will start to see much more rounded classes on the o line now that miles is gone.

While he's not the the point guy on a lot of the big fish, he gets the guys he's told to get and the players truly love him. I know they were overwhelmed in a couple games last year but that was literally because the defense knew we were running it 90% of the time. There are a lot worse options than Jeff grimes

That's what I'm hoping, because I have been a very vocal critic of Grimes in both OL scheme and recruiting. They haven't recruited SEC/SEC Championship quality OL's overall, specifically in addition to the lack of quality Tackles and Centers.

BTW, we're up shite creek without a paddle if Clapp gets injured again in the fall. No Centers on the team to speak of. Huge mistake running Dodd off as a Senior.....................
