sounds like a recipe for a hugely divided team with no resolution.

Oh well. it will be just be a protracted distraction.

There is a lightened version of that part on youtube too. I don't have the link though. It's pretty clear that someone is kicking him while he's on the ground.

Why others aren't coming forward is something we don't know. Several may have and it just hasn't been released by the police. There are 4 victims supposedly pressing charges and the only two things that have been released are a few words from Stone with the BRPD and the initial officer's report.

Nobody wants to be known as the guy/girl to rat out LSU players either.

this was a well thought out strategy and damage control on lsu's side. They got their story straight, didn't say a peep and several days later go back and give thier story.

that is why. losing jj and johns is almost collateral damage to the whole situation.

team sweep (halfway)

Nobody
this is why he was so short with the press conference today. Even though jj and jj are being charged, i am sure a deal was already made.

Fisher is good but he a real sleeze ball. the rest will be kept out of the media, the chief brpd get thier hour of power, and lsu gets to keep (who ever else is involved) JJ and JJ take it for the team.

After it's over, parents and kid says frick that, gets another lawyer and now we are waiting for round 2

ding fricking ding.

Lowery got what he deserved. A kick to the head is what he needed after being such an EPIC FAIL to humanity.

Are any other players at risk of being brought in and arrested or anything?

At this point, I'd have to think no matter what allegations surface too much time has passed to press any charges.

Like everyone has said, the JJ's are taking it for the team. I'd pay a lot of money to find out the whole REAL story behind what went down that night. Someone legit has to know who started what.

Quick unrelated question: Was Lowery the one that was said to have threatened the crowd that he had a gun? Or was that a different 'victim'?

The case is still on going, so yeah, anything could happen.

Not at all. If new evidence is found and points to someone else, then a new person can be charged.

Different victim.

if someone wouldn't have yelled five'0 and the cops wouldn't have come, it could have been much worse and someone might be looking at manslaughter/att murder etc. Not to mention comma, death or paralysis

ego is a powerful thing.

No, this was in the original police report that leaked yesterday. I saw the gun being discussed, but didn't read the actual report to see how it was mentioned.

It was in the police report that was release a couple of days ago. The female witness that was with Lowery said that one of the victims threatened the crowd that he had a gun before they left.

Yeah, I was quite confused, because I thought people were saying Lowery was the one who threatened with the gun. If so, he deserved to be beaten senseless. Things just didn't add up.

But, now that I know that they were referring to a separate victim, it makes a little more sense.

Not entirely correct. Supposedly she claimed as the truck drove away, someone in the truck yelled something about having a gun in the car and threatened they would've used it. Same thing, but no gun was ever pulled out and aimed at people. It was just a threat yelled while driving off that there was a gun in the truck.

Yeah and the douche bag Lowery and his new girlfriend lied to the police about being in the bar so why would anyone believe anything he says, a-hole?
