After years of never being able to talk to a live person and having my emails unanswered, I experimented.

At least three times over the years, in the middle of a workday, I've run down the list and called every single name on the department staff. I've gotten twenty voicemails in a row.

No one at the athletic department answers the phone. Just a sign of how Alleva runs things, I guess. Bertman's people were Johnny-on-the-spot.

Let me qualify--this does not apply to the LSU ticket office. They likely have student workers answering the phone,but I am always treated courteously and my concerns taken care of promptly and competently.
