Jay has kept him in too long. He is still living off the hype of his first AB that was a home run.

.250 batter with 50 Ks last year and I would reckon just as many popups. Until he changed his approach, someone else needs to see the lineup.

I have almost 0 confidence that anything besides a K or a HR is coming. And he doesn’t hit bear enough homers to justify it. Even Jones has a ton of loud outs that are hit hard. Jobert seems to just miss or catch it all

Kling needs to play in just about every game from here on out. He’s the future. Kid is a stud. I understand living and dying with Jobert last year but not this year.

Jobert is the rant whipping boy. He's the player all of the morons choose to pile on.

Kling looked absolutely lost the entire weekend against aTm. I'm not saying he shouldn't play, but you are shitting on Jobert, while giving Kling a free pass for looking even worse.

Jobert is a junior. He is what he is. I see zero change from his play last year.
At least with Kling ( the top rated freshman ) you’ve got the upside and potential for him to figure it out. The tools for Kling are there. He just needs time. Stick him in the 7 or 8 hole and let him get the reps.

Not to completely trash the kid, but he’s also a liability in the field and made a terrible mistake on the base path’s yesterday

I think kling is better too. I'm just pointing out the lies, and then the hypocrisy of saying Jobert is inconsistent and then knighting for a player who looked totally foolish and entire weekend.

The fly ball he fielded on their first run & ensuing throw to home was embarrassing for a college player

Amazing the backups are better in baseball as well at LSU. I can’t imagine the coaches having the same amount of knowledge the average 9-5 workers who post on TD. The nerve of a coach to not see all the almighty things.

I thought it looked weird at the game. He caught it basically moving backwards

Guy went to Nichols out of HS. Previous regime wanted players like him over Stovall.

I dont mind jobert starting, if he hits, keep in. But when we need speed, bunting, save, etc, we have to put Kling in.

Who else does this team have that can do that? Maybe guidry?

You mean the guy who struck out 8 times against A&M last week?

18 home runs. He is a power hitter that is streaky. You have to get him at bats. He can hit 2-3 HRs in a game. He also can strike out that many times. With a little improvement on consistency, he can win a few ball games for us.

The bullpen is the problem area, specifically closer.

He popped out to shallow left and they sent the runner just to try and end it. Good throw gets the runner easily but it was a horrible throw to the plate.
