But his runing opens up opportunities for other running.

No, no it doesn't. It would if the other team respected his passing and didn't sack the box.

I'm sorry, but wasn't his running effective today? Didn't he score and later gain yardage?
Do you watch football at all?
UK stacked the box against a QB noted for his passing didn't they?
You really don't understand football do you?
You just write what you hear your beer buddies say don't you?

who looked better?

I'm not gonna debate who ran better-a quarterback or running back. That's a non-sensible question.

But I thought McGee looks like a guy who could really special before he's done.

IF Lee stays healthy, I don't see him used anything more than an occassional wildcat or red zone insert.

He offers a change a pace and can help keep defenses off balance.

LSU sometimes did this with Perriloux during the '07 run.

he did the same stuff last year. people would just load up the box, stop us twice and then he would throw an incompletion on 3rd down.

This....he ran well, but looked no different! I honestly couldn't tell if he had improved, but I'll reserve that judgement for later in the season.

I will say this crap about DC's having to prepare for a new "wrinkle" being an advantage is just BS. All they have to do is look at last years game film if this is how the offense is going to play out. I pray not...again, will hold any judgement on the "dual QB" system until later in the season, but my gut tells me that we need one leader at QB and an occasional wrinkle ala 07

One way or the other, we're gonna need better QB play than we got today if we want to win a NC.
