And then... if JJ has a great practice, all we hear on here is, "We heard that last off season. He sucks. He can't do it in a game."

And then... if JJ has a bad practice, all we hear is, "He sucks. He sucks so bad. I can't get my dildo out of my arse. He sucks."

Sums it up perfectly.

frick. There goes the Saints season. Anyone see Drew Brees' stats in the first preseason game?
Boom goes the dynamite.

I actually was not looking forward to going to games as much last season because of the complete assholery of such a large portion of our own fan base.

I don't think it's a large portion, but I do agree. I was near a couple of guys at games last year where the running commentary was non-stop. When your fellow fans tell you to STFU, it may be time to find a new hobby

Ill be glad when gameday gets here.

At least then we can bitch or praise based on things at a time which we can all agree matters.

I've heard he threw one or 2 TD's.

Not sure which.

I read this as JJ was 15/25/100/0 and 1 rushing touchdown. I could see it being a passing touchdown.

Look...we could argue over percentages but would you agree that this group represents a large enough percentage to both be hard by most and to essentially alter the tone of the stands? I do.

And yes...the closest I've ever come to getting kicked out of TS was in 2008 when some a-hole started cheering because Lee went down while playing horribly and Jefferson was going to get a shot. And, yes...this same tool now screams to take Jefferson out as Lee is the only real option.

I think he threw a TD with the No.1's.

But who knows with Milesese.

That's called a shitty fan, not an LSU fan. That's at every single school/team in America. The backup is always the most popular guy, as shown by his switching back and forth.

Comparing the 2 situations is dumb. Brees has such a great body of work that you know a bad preseason game means jack shite.

When a qb is doing the same things that made him lousy in previous seasons, and is still doing those things in scrimmages, yes then it's ok to worry

But the kid said that preseason scrimmage statistical performance was a DIRECT indicator of season performance.

The analogy stands.

And that's called the No True Scotsman fallacy. Yeah...they're LSU fans...they are just shitty ones. But make no mistake...they're ours. Claiming they wouldn't act like that if they were REAL fans is simply a dodge, I'm afraid.

Agreed...every sports team ever has a portion of their fans which are complete assbags.

Not disagreeing...though I've never once heard anyone scream "Take out that white boy" when Booty was doing poorly at times in 1999 and 2000 in favor of Rohan. More is in play in the QB situation the past 7 years and to deny that is just naive. It's not the ONLY thing, but it's a real thing.

I read this garbage last night and decided to not reply but now I figure I should because it is pure nonsense and I think you need to see it one more time. It was a fricking scrimmage. How can you make ANY inferences as to how anyone played if you didn't see it first hand. As others have said, scrimmages are not games, they are situational. JJ cant throw the short ball very well, certainly not as well with Lee. I think the stats would lead one to believe that maybe he was working on that. Not to mention the fact that you are looking into a stat that is meaningless in vacuum(YPC). If they were really working on short passes, then that's not much YAC, which by your logic, should have you shitting yourself that the receivers are not breaking away for big gains.

Nonetheless, I find it "very troubling" that we have so many asshats like you in our fanbase that just want to be right so badly, that they will go into a season with a negative outlook and would rather bitch than see our team succeed. You will never truly enjoy LSU football and that is sad. As for MOST of us, we can't wait for football to start, every year, no matter who is coaching or is at QB or how much LSU is charging for parking or what songs the fricking band plays. I feel sorry for people like you, who I believe to be a growing minority, that feel they must hate the team they root for in order to be real fans.
