If Jordan Jefferson gets drafted I'm walking on somewhere.

Your post is very interesting seeing as we haven't even played the 2011 football season yet. So you are giving JJ stats that aren't real?
Do you understand the term 'projected'?
You compared JJ to Campbell. There is no comparison using their junior year numbers. Campbell had 181 completions, a 62% completion rate and almost 2300 yards. JJ had 118 completions, 56% rate, and 1400 yards. Campbell didn't really show that much improvement.

quote:Okay so he didn't improve that much. Ask any Auburn fan and they will tell you he was a world better his senior year. Look man I am in no way saying JJ will be good. I am just stating that it can happen. I understand your post.

Jordan Jefferson 2010 Stats
You have NO football IQ if you don't think the game has changed in the last 7 years.
The offenses and defenses are sooooo much more complicated..
AND from your own chart, Cambell was clearly better his junior yr than JJ was.
more attempts, better completion, better td/int ratio...and on and on.....

Not to metion Jefferson was splitting time with Lee
UH, NO! You should have wrote J Lee spent time SAVING JJ"S arse....when J Lee played, it usually meant JJ was benched due to piss poor performance and inability to move the offense.
Sorry bro...you really need to think things thru. i know we all get hyped up at this time of year, and our enthusiasm overtakes our realistic views.
Is it possible JJ is better, absolutely! But I personally try to go off of what he has done, and be presently surprised if he is better...rather than go off of hyped up expectations and be very disappointed when he plays like he has shown the last 3 yrs..

How f'ng dumb is it to base JJ's expectations off of Cambells senior yr? Different players, different time, different offenses, different coaches, different everything.......but oh yeah, another black qb had a "good" yr his senior yr, so surely JJ will do the same......
People who go along with this thinking are simple minded IMO

Those might be his final numbers this year

He was improved somewhat.
But he had a better team in 2004 than 2003.
Caddy Williams and Ronnie brown were also fricking BEASTS in 04.
