funny thing is, I usually hear or have heard his "breaking news" a day or so earlier than he breaks it, and I have ZERO connections. The things they Break are usually known around LSU anyway. This school can't keep secrets well.

the other day he called Condon and stated that saw a bit where Gruden said he liked LSU and would be interested, blah, blah and turns right back around and asks "Gruden, didn't he win a national championship or something?"

Fish and Todd have the be worse callers in BR along with MFP. MFP is the Geaux Chris sports of BR. Geaux Chris sports is the td member that has like 89 alters and constantly causes issues on the rant and the OT.

Pretty much sums it up. I am utterly amazed that people put stock into the soundbites/interviews that student-athletes give to the press. Press conferences, pre-game comments, and any other kind of Rah-Rah forum...that's the real waste of oxygen. It's all PC, it's all, if you will, game management--what can you say that won't offend anyone. It's boring and mind-numbing. Why anyone here would waste time listening to the Les Miles show or reading player quotes during the week, boggles the mind. I got into an argument with someone else on the Rant last year when some player gave a comment about having confidence in Miles. Yes...yes, I do believe a player making a comment that he knows has the chance to be posted onto every possible media outlet and message board, would be less than completely candid when giving a statement about the guy who holds the power to bench him.
