Personally, I'm giving Les one more year to get it done. If he can't win one SEC Championship with Leonard Fournette, then I'm ready to give him the 21 gun salute.

But you'll hire Jimbo Fisher who can't win the ACC with Dalvin Cook?

Yeah, but he could probably beat Arkansas as well.

ACC has sucked dor many years now. He hit it at the right time. If we were in the ACC we would be 55-0.

Yea maybe. But maybe not. We know he is prone to losing to terrible teams.

that team last year with Winston squeaked by so many teams

they would fall behind early all the time then have to make a scramble to come back

and its not like I think Jimbo is a bad coach or would do poorly at LSU, I just believe that tRant needs to hold other coaches to the same scrutiny that y'all hold Les

There is a clear difference in losing by way of a blocked kick returned for TD and getting blown out by a team that had no business being in the game with you in the first place two years running.

Jimbo aside from his 1st and 2nd year when he was rebuilding, has never been just flat out outclassed by a lesser opponent.

You realize FSU had 15 players drafted last year?

Thats like the 2008 and 2014 seasons for us. This is their down year and they will still most likely finish 10-2

Fisher just lost to a horrible Georgia Tech team....

That is worse than losing to Arky.

I'm aware

Arky, at this moment, would destroy that GT team and you all know it

This team got walloped 59-20 by Oregon. Miles has never lost by 39 to anyone.

I don't disagree with any of that. LSU shouldn't blindly let go of Miles. Need a plan in place.

Jimbo's single greatest accomplishment at FSU was landing Winston. Any team would be 14-0 with that guy.

No, any team would not be undefeated just because of Winston. That's a nice theory, but they had an undefeated regular season last year too and that included beating a ranked Clemson team with their backup QB making his first start while Winston was suspended.

We lost by 34 to Auburn LAST YEAR. They finished 8-4
They had won 27 games straight prior to losing in the CFP

If you are trying to compare the two coaches it's not even close.

They have won their division every year under him except one. He took over a program that had a string of 7 and 8 win seasons and has made them powerhouse as of late. He has the same number of Championships as Les and More conference titles in what, 5 less years?

You're using their loss to Oregon, in the playoffs?

It was a bad game, but they had what like 6 turnovers?

records wise, you're right

but his record is inflated because of the conference he is in and if you can't admit that, then its pointless talking with you

he is a good coach, but his teams do have some Les type tendencies and he wouldn't be that dominant in the SEC west

I wouldn't mind Jimbo. I just think y'all might get disappointed when he has similar results to Les at LSU.

I can agree with that. He would have similar results. As I said in a different thread, I'd be more satisfied with the same results if we made changes and lost games because we made a turnover or two as opposed to having the same conservative offensive philosophy we've had since 2008. It also doesn't hurt that he is 50 and would most likely be our next long term coach if by the small chance we hired him.
