Not completely comparing Jimbo to Gene Chizik, but if you look at the body of work- it is impressive don't get me wrong- but his 2 best years were with Jameis just as Chizik got lucky with Newton. Look at his overall record leading up to Jameis, with, and then without. I'm not saying it should be O or anyone else, I just think you guys are crazy. I know we need an offensive mind, but the man's only had 2 top 25 offenses. I know he's a QB whisperer, but so is Petrino and "so was" Cam (according to many of you ranters). Take a look at record, total offense, and talent- just like with Miles, he is more of the same of being a habitual underperformer. He actually plays a lesser schedule and recruits the same ranked classes as we do and underperforms. Jameis made this man look amazing, don't be fooled...

'10:10-4; '11: 9-4;'12 12-2;'13 14-0; '14 13-1;'15 10-3;'16 7-3

Offense Yards/game: 2010- FSU 60 (LSU 86) 2011- FSU- 77 (LSU 86) 2012- FSU 18 (LSU 87) 2013- FSU 6 (LSU 36) 2014- FSU 38 (LSU 80) 2015- FSU 51(LSU 38) 2016- FSU 30 (LSU 70)- I know it's better by far than LSU, but nothing here is amazing.
Recruiting: '09: 14; '10: 7; '11: 2; '12: 3; '13: 11; '14: 4; '15: 3; '16: 2
Actually out recruited LSU most years, but really didn't lead to anything.

Be careful before we bust the bank for more of the same...

I see you put in a lot of work for that post, but as soon as I saw Jimbo and Chizik in the first sentence I quit reading and sent a downvote your way.

If any press is good press. This is a good thing about hiring Jimbo.

If we get Jimbo, at least LSU will be in the headlines more...

We are sure to recruit players more likely to get arrested, so hey that has to count for something.

Crab-legs and Rape anyone?...

This is the rant. You have to remember your target audience and make stupid once sentence posts so that they can understand. There is no place for a well thought out and logical post here.

Miles-1 sec title and national champ appearance. No other major bowls or even division titles

Jimbo-3 acc titles. 1 national champ(beat the sec). Orange and Rose bowl(playoff) appearances.

But yea that completely lead to nothing for FSU. gtfo

I'm not a Miles defender, but you need to get your facts straight. LSU won the SEC West in 2005, 2007, and 2011, and the overall SEC title in 2007 and 2011. We also won the Sugar Bowl in 2006 over Notre Dame.

Because I have an opinion, I'm a moron. I have sat in that stadium for many years. I remember more than 1-2 people complaining about jimbos "predictable" play calling.

Who said anything about LSU years, he was a great HC here. The man is a great OC, hasn't been a great HC. For all of you Miles crybabies out there, this guy sure does seem the same on paper.

to be fair, if FSU were in the SEC West they would have (maybe) one Conference champ period. Cant compare ACC titles to SEC.

You have to love a portion of our fan base. They really believe ed orgeron would be more successful than Jimbo Fisher.

I lost a lot of respect over the whole Winston thing. Jimbo may be a great coach but his ethics are pretty questionable. I like winning but not at ALL cost.
