It's a done deal guys, Frank and O staying with raises. Muschamp as possible D coordinator, all good recruiters. LSU needs a different vision. We should all appreciate CLM for all that he has done at LSU. My sources are soon on too.

Who the f*** is this guy?

Not trying to be a dick, just thought I'd keep the rant circus going.

I haven't seen your name much, but I believe in you.

Tell me how LSU pulled it off. Did we walk into Tallahassee with a blank check?

This CANNOT be true. Now, it may all work out like you cats are saying - I'm not denying that - but it is NOT a done deal. A million things can happen to kibosh the whole thing. These coaches are under contract to their respective institutions, including provisions about notice, discussions of other jobs, their various buyout arrangements - and a lot of that is subject to assumptions about final negotiations.

This is the part that makes a little bit of sense in all this. Part of it is that we want to believe. Wilson's value to any school is tied to whether or not that school is attractive to New Orleans/South Louisiana kids. It makes perfect sense to keep him home and in the state's flagship. If a new head coach is an offensive guru, then Frank gets the title he wants - OC. O can be promoted to recruiting coordinator/associate head coach, which his experience certainly warrants. Boom is kind of damaged goods because of Florida - although a lateral move, he may see possibilities at LSU - I mean, he is at his 3rd stop in Auburn, something keeps pulling him back there.

But, all of this remains speculation until the big pieces move, honestly. We always hear about these complex coaching staff changes, but 1 little piece collapses everything like a Jenga tower.

No. And my info is third hand from someone who says they're getting it from inside the walls (so TIFWIW), but I am hearing Frank is gone and O is soliciting HC discussions. In the end, it will come down to the offers for O, but we may have to wait on him for a little while which SUCKS for recruiting.

Muschamp

his name keeps coming up

is this wishful thinking only ?

I read he can move without strings at the end of the season

sounds like AU was just a pay check for one year for him

why must you kids act like this. It was thought all along that O and W would stay...in fact, it would have been very surprising if they left, due to their ability and recruiting. So because we keep our two coaches already on staff, you are going to lose your shite? What exactly does that mean? You are going to take a shite? Take an enema? Cry? I mean seriously, what exactly does that mean, because, whatever it is, you are going to have to lose it.

You are spot on...there may be some agreements in principle, but there have been NO CONTRACTS signed, etc. These little attention whores here a little bit and want to run to the rant so they can say "hey everyone, look at me, I'm in the know". Literally 75% of the board could have posted the same message and probably end up being proven right.....again...there are a LOT of things that can still go wrong....you gotta love these little kids....DONE DEAL......lol.....fk, most probably don't even understand what it takes to actually have a DONE DEAL. LOL
