I'm kinda afraid about how Peveto and Mallory are gonna approach their defense of the rebel offense. Troy gashed us with runs and picked us apart through the air for nearly 3 quarters. Ole Miss has a future top 5 pick protecting Snead in Michael Oher, a stud RB in Brandon Bolden.

And of course Nutt is great at coaching the wild rebel with McCluster at QB. Snead is a really good athlete who can throw and run at QB.

They are gonna pose a big threat, guys.

Snead is very inconsistent and gets rattled easily. But what you said is true.

That said, I wouldn't make a judgement on the Ole Miss game based on what you saw in the Troy game.

yeah, look for all kinds of trickery and havoc that Nutt is gonna try to throw at our defense. Let's hope that the Tigers will be prepared for what they are gonna see on Saturday.

We have not run the Wild Rebel very much at all in the last three games. I think they are trying to make people "forget" about it so we can have a surprise factor again.

But really, everyone (even LSU) is starting to run a form of this so I think Nutt is trying to get away from it for a while.

Well maybe thats why he didn't run it against lesser opponents of Auburn, ULM, and Arkansas?>

I can tell you what they shouldn't do, and thats call ULM and ask them how to defense Ole Miss.

Why shouldn't they?

1. Its an SEC game (anything can happen)
2. We got a pretty decent team this year
3. We usually play pretty well against LSU (minus 2005)
4. You almost lost to Troy.
5. We beat Florida, who beat you by 30.

But seriously bottom line, if we turn the ball over then LSU wins, maybe rolls us.

Don't start with the "we beat/you lost" stuff. That's kind of comparison almost never works. The rest of your points are valid though. It should be tough. It should be close. We're at home. That will be the difference.

Yeah thats what I'm worried about too, and turnovers like I said before.

Also we tend to make average QBs look like All Americans with our secondary play.
