Jersey color for syracuse game

Drawing a blank on our home Jersey policy for out of conference. Do we wear white for all power 5 opponents, or just the 1st home game and purple for the rest.

Why is this important? In March....on the day we just hired a new basketball coach....2 days after baseball opened SEC with a sweep and about to go to Florida? Honestly, why would this ever matter? I'll never understand this boards fascination with the football jerseys. Who gives a frick? It's a jersey. They don't determine the outcome.

I have a good friend of mine who is an orange fan, and just hope he is treated to the full tiger tradition (home whites) while his team gets destroyed.

I think it'll be like this: we'll wear white for the first home OOC cupcake, per usual, then purple vs Syracuse (with white pants and helmets, like vs S Miss last year), then purple again the next week vs Troy, with gold helmets and pants.

What is "tradition", anyway? The baseball team has a "tradition" of alternating white, purple, and then gold for weekend series. It would be great if football could do the same, as each color pattern has its own unique beauty. As long as the Tigers win, what difference does it make?

Tradition is home night games,White jerseys,EVERY 5 yard line marked, double goal posts, ya know the shite that sets LSU apart from EVERY other mother blanking school in the country. In spite of all that, I do agree winning is what matters.

Power 5 game. It'll be the white jersey. Purple is for non conference non-power 5 non-home openers.
