Dude...Manziel is being "withheld from play". Could mean anything.

What are you talking about. He is suspended for one half against rice.

He already said not to be surprised if he makes the trip. So I'll assume it's one half. Why else bring him along if he's out for the game.
I think we'll be fine regardless of the length anyways.

Les East ?@EastAdvocate 1m
For those who didn't get it, Miles' "withheld from play" was him repeating the same vagueness he's been saying all week. Relax. #LSU

JFF will be "withheld from play" for the first half. Withheld from play could mean one series, one quarter, half, game, etc. We had a guy in high school who was punished by missing the first play.

Patterson bashed LSU and Miles for reinstating Hill. Then the national media jumped on the bandwagon as well and attacked Miles and LSU. In the time leading up to the game it looks like TCu's fields will play. When Patterson was holding him up as a example of how he handles his team. Now if Hill is held out completely and Fields does play, will the media have anything to say?

A lot of media are looking like jackasses right now.

Lets see if Patterson still decides to teach a "life lesson" to Fields

No, it means he will not play in the first half.

He should be withheld for 1 play. Im surprised manziel was suspended a half....I hope rice goes up 40 to 0 in the first 2 quarters..

Wait ....wut...what happened to "les is losing control!!!!" I have a sincere want for the talking heads in the media to choke on a mouthful of fat crow.

what is baffling is that the QB was suspended supposedly for a DWI, but wasn't he also arrested for distribution of crack? Why is it that no one mentions this? It's almost like Patterson has taken lessons from Obama on deflecting the media.

Got it, thanks. I didn't realize "withheld from play" isn't the same as "will not play"

Why is this a new thread? He said this two weeks ago. "There will be with-holding". Y'all need to learn Les-speak.

OMG you guys are idiots. He wasnt going to start regardless if Miles said he was going to be withheld from play. Pretty sure blue and hilliard earned it by being with the team while hill was suspended.

LES says 1 game suspension. Our rbs drop like flies in the first half. We have no one left to play. Hill plays. Miles will look like a buffoon in much the way patterson does. He says he gets withheld from play, then it doesnt really matter how much he misses. Miles can come back and say, yeah he was withheld from the first half.

Knowing how much Lesticles loves voting, this was surely a staff decision. Not only do I respect this fricking move more than anything... I think it reflects environment Les has created.

I mean I am proud of HB7 & JH33 both but in the midst of many schools letting players do whatever they please and Manziel having to sit a half out (which I absolutely cannot wait for him to play so he can feel THE REAL DEATH VALLEY come November) we are still LSU.

Best move as a coach and damn strong for LSU publicity/recruiting, particularly to parents. You might be the #1 athlete at your position but if you frick up, you will not play ball.. at least for a little while.

MAN IM frickING CRUNK.

and I haven't drank a drop.
