Bet on Max being wrong and you'll win most of the time.

yeah, but we may actually see it next year.

can't argue that the line will be pretty stout next year with Faulk coming back, and the young pups developing on the right side.

and then those receivers will keep getting better.

and then we don't have to force feed shepard anymore.

Had those same thoughts going into this season. I hope we return to last years form, plus a passing game. We could be dominant.

Next year, our defense is going to take a HUGE step back. We lose every d-linemen except Rasco, Freak and Ego. We lose Minter in the middle. We lose half of our secondary. Yes, we have talent behind them. But it is raw as hell and will likely cost us a game or two (just like injuries and a slow start to the passing game cost us this year).

You're probably right about being raw, but with the offense playing like they are now, and assuming they can continue that into next season. They're gonna put up points, which puts pressure on the opposing offense. This will allow Chavis to take more chances and possibly force more turnovers.

Meh. A les miles offense is never gonna be conducive to quarterbacks putting up big numbers. I think mett will be solid next year but he'll still be in an offense that's run first and wear down the defense with power

Actuallu, Miles has stated this season they were trying to set up the run with the pass early on. Only problem was the qb and wrs werent on the same page and the oline was all over the place.

The coaches have catered this offense to mett. In years proor it was for a mobile qb. In fact the zone read is exactly what crowton was trying to run at MD, half way through the season he had the acc ffosh of the year on the bench.

Shocked by how mch Better Mett is playing.Watched him against Towson earlier this year and thought that he was a bust, then he came out looking like Tom Brady against us.I've been very impressed with him the last two games.
