Well, I really like Harris and think he has a world of potential, but it probably didn't help that he completed 3 passes against Auburn

Auburn is possibly the 2nd or 3rd best team in the nation. Jennings threw two picks versus ole miss' crappy secondary. Play both qbs. Jennings is that bad.

I feel with Jennings inaccuracy and predictable play calling that our beloved tigers get beat big this weekend. But I was terribly wrong against Florida and Ole Miss, and I actually thought Kentucky had a chance. So that let's you know how credible my prediction is for this game. If Peej picks Bama too Jennings won't need to throw at all, bet the house on the tigers.

Way, way, way under. Maybe 5 completions, unless...

While I will admit that this may be based more on a gut feeling than objective logic, I think that Anthony Jennings is going to break out in a very positive way really soon. I believe that it will be this weekend.

Bust some Bama arse, AJ!

On second and 5 or more yards, Jennings has been told, when we give you a pass play it will be a roll out and that he should run first or throw it out of bounds. Only if there is no defender withing 20 yards of a receiver should he throw. I predict he throws it less than 10 times while the game is still in reach and completes 6 or so. If we are way behind it will not matter how many times he throws.

In order to win this game, Bama will have to give up 400 yards rushing. Don't think that will happen unless Fournette, Magee, etc have record rushing games.

We could win, but odds are "stacked" against us.

Under. His stats line doesn't concern me that much.

Control the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball, convert 3rd downs, win the turnover battle, along with special teams and we win.

150+ on the ground will suffice.

If AJ hits a couple of long passes, we should be in position to win in the 4th quarter.

I was shocked that his number of completions was that high.

Harris starting at Auburn was a colossal mistake. They should have let the boy start at home against NMST or one of the other patsies. Not on the road....in a tremendously hostile environment. It was a recipe for failure and the team/Harris didn't disappoint.

No doubt, that was a really tough environment to have a 1st start. I think there was a lot of nerves involved because Harris was so off that his throws weren't catchable. We also didn't put Fournette in until the 4th series, etc., so we didn't exactly help him out. But he has had trouble with the plays in a number of the games. I think the season has just unfolded in a way that the coaches have just gone with Jennings because the games have been so close and he didn't come out gunning interceptions.

Well he only completes 50% of his throws, which is the biggest issue. That's why he's so low.

Why not post his passing yardage? At one point Dural was top 3 in the SEC in receiving yards on 6 catches. Long throws off play action are perfectly fine with me, which is the same thing Marshall is doing. We could very well win Sat with less than 10 completions, as long as a few of them are big plays.

And Ole Miss was undefeated until we played them...Auburn was fortunate to beat them. Ole Miss still has the #1 scoring D in the nation and is #1 in the nation in interceptions. Auburn has the 97th ranked pass D while Ole Miss is 22nd.

Mett is also talented enough to be starting as a rookie in the NFL. AJ...not so much.

The next lowest total is Marshall at Auburn with 99 completions. Hill leads the SEC with 214 at TAM

I think that says all you need to know about how important passing is in the SEC.

Still amazing that Jennings completed more passes than Harris did against Auburn.

When looking at Jennings' stats you have to factor in that he didn't play much against New Mexico State or Auburn.

I don't have a lot of faith in Jennings but I'll say that if he throws two INTs against Bama like he did against Ole Miss we will definitely lose the game.

Yup... 27-41 for 299 with 2 TDs and 1 pick is not a bad day at the office.

Baring a defensive / special teams td this game will come down to Jennings play.

Hard to see him having more than 6-7 completions

He is long overdue for a long TD to Dural.
