I know that Les wants him for the simple reason that he's a great technique guy, and Les wants to maintain his lock on most of Texas (with regards to the Strong hire at UT) Grimes has major influence in Texas per my source.

Plus, the University of Virginia is about to start owning that state with the recruiting they are putting up.

Who wants to be at a lackluster ACC school and that happening??

My only worry is can we convince he and his family that Baton Rouge is a better place to live and raise your children than Blacksburg Va. I hope that our folks can do this.

"Baton Rouge murder rate higher than Chicago"

I think that's the one he is talking about.

Well as long as he doesnt decide to look for houses in the paradise known as Denham Springs, we have nothing to worry about.

Baton Rouge vs Blacksburg He stay in Blacksburg.

LSU vs VT. He leave Blacksburg.

Well spoken guy. Like his philosophy, particularly about recruiting "Smart Guys" that can play and it's not all about just being big and strong. Has a little work to do at LSU to turn things around. Will be huge upgrade over StudCurley and will not scare off OL recruits.

Hope his wife likes BR.

I really like his direction towards the type of linemen which we need to be putting on the field. If I read his take on a type he likes, it is a guy with size, but is athletic instead of big and slow. We need guys who have good footwork and get to the point of attack quickly. I think we will see some pounds being shed pretty quickly from our o-line!
