JD running style a lot like Eric Dickerson. Maybe a little Harvey Williams

Definitely has that upright glide that both of those guys did. It doesn’t look like he’s running fast, except he’s passing folks.

Taller runners with good form look like that. He’s got really quick feet for a taller guy like himself.

Do you know how big and physical Dickerson was? Yes he was fast but that is NOT how he ran. He is a BIG physical runner who happened to have the ability to run away from people.
I would say Lamar Jackson and Kordell Stewart are better comparisons. Both would just run away from people like they seemed to have the angle on them.

No Dickerson was huge 6’3 or so and 235. He looked like a TE for his size. I watched him in high school. He was the best running back I’ve ever seen in my many years of watching high school football but I never knew he would be what he was because Sealy was such a small school.
1. Sanders because of where and how he did it. He was screwed so many times because of “Cowboy Bias”. He was 10X better than Smith.

4. Dickerson
5. Tomlinson - I might catch crap for listing him but that guy was really really good.

Also a little of late Ark QB Matt Jones. Long strider that didn’t look fast but left people behind when gobbling up ground.
