What exactly does he have to prove that hasn’t already been proven.

That he can take a lick and keep on ticking
Does not quit and will play for his team
Keep padding his stats, have the best QB numbers without playing 4-5 quarters
Can be in NY for Heisman

All these things will have him statistically as the top QB, especially with a hard schedule, and will get him drafted higher, which means $ millions

I could be wrong but Jayden doesn't really strike me as the type of guy who would sit out.

Same. I don’t see how anyone, even those who don’t just love Daniels, could look at the last two years and see him as anything but one tough son of a bitch. He had no business playing in the SECCG last year, but he did and was good for how much the ankle slowed him down. If he’s cleared, he will play.

I’m not saying Daniels should do this, but it wouldn’t shock me if he played a quarter in our bowl game.

I think playing and playing well would solidify him on peoples minds. When he runs like that against a team like Alabama the NFL will be saying who is burning those studs we want him. Let him flash a few more times.

He’s a smart kid, I don’t think so. He’s earned a chance to go to combine and compete. Also imagine he has insurance.

JD5 has nothing left to prove to me or IMO anyone else.

Whatever he and his coaches / advisors decide is fine by me.

Great young man and one of LSU's all time great QBs.

If Daniels makes a run at Heisman , he stands to make quite a move in pay by staying by moving up draft order.

NFL teams don’t care about who wins the Heisman.

Maybe the bowl game. But I don’t think he sits out regular season.

I would like to see him play the next 3 games and then sit out the bowl game. Let Nuss get the start and extra work.

The Lower Bowl games should be looked at like a spring practice giving next years starters more PT

most on this board want him to sit out to see Nuss.

They want to see Nuss shine; they don't want to see Nuss suck, which is what they would see.

And I'm not saying Nuss doesn't have the potential, just that he is clearly not ready.

It’s the right thing to do. There is nothing of importance to win this year. Get Gus in there and give him the experience.

Jayden Daniels will always be one of my favorite LSU quarterbacks.

Did you watch football before this year? How many of those games did he look like a 1rst rounder? A few his freshman year, and every game this season is my opinion. He did not look draft worthy at the end of last year. Finishing the year and continuing to play at an elite level helps build his case. He can absolutely strengthen his position by winning the Heisman.

Once you quit, you always quit.

If I'm a GM, I wonder if he would give up during a bad season or if playoffs were not on the line.
