This has to be the most absurd post of the year. He can make one pass, a 6 yd hitch. Crazy level ridiculousness!

CBK will make him QB2 if he struggles throwing the ball in spring. Nuss will have to limit his picks.

No passing game another year. JD must have photos of BK with a live boy or dead girl.

Is this the right thread to shite on the kid who wants to play his arse off for LSU?

Was shitting on a bama recruit and an lsu fan said we shouldn’t do that so I wanted to make sure I’m in the right place.

It’s still cool to shite on OUR players right?

I know he was frustrating a few times this season and he fell into some habits we saw along the way, but there were also times where he was absolutely dynamic and if that’s a glimpse of what he can be after his first year, then I’m excited for the kid.

I’ll take the word of professionals who watch more college football than average Tigerdroppings Joe about what Daniels can be. He wasn’t mentioned in the Heisman race because he’s a Sun Belt level QB.

Anyone who believes that we’re going to get the same exact Jayden Daniels in ‘23 is a complete moron and is scared that a QB is going to transfer. Get over yourselves.

What does this even mean. They’re going to play the QB that gives us the best chance to win

Yes.

I was certain that Brennan would be our starter last season.

But if he wasn’t, that meant we were getting a better starting QB.

For real. Our shitty fans are so quick to forget that there were zero expectations for this season and JD led us to wins over Florida, Auburn, and Bama plus a trip to Atlanta.

I seem to recall another LSU transfer QB who had a decent first year then followed it up with the greatest season of all time. Maybe let's give Jayden a chance

As if a projected UFA wasn't going to return for another year.

Another year of short passes and good QB runs. Less runs for RBs and no yards for WRs and no vertical threat, no seam routes. I guess everyone just duplicates the Arkansas defense scheme from now on against LSU.

Purdue looked pretty good against Meechergan, at least for a half. If we get more of those dead stare drop backs from #5, after a full year in "the system" you'll know that's what you'll get from hereon.

So what does our 5 star QB do, wait around? maybe, he's still young? What does Nuss do, wait around? He could make a move after the bowl and go start somewhere.

Another year of QB production for WRs like this year will be bad news for WR's trying to get to the league.

Good to see that we will have experienced depth behind Nuss/Walker.

Nuss has 3 years of eligibility left and Howard 4. Daniels one more season, Nuss 1 or 2 more after Daniels, then Howard 1 or 2 more after that. Is that entirely out of the realm of possibility?

Y’all are all up in arms about him throwing for over 200 yards in a half when Jayden did the same team in the same game.

nuss threw for 300 and jd5 was not consistent throwing all year. his intermediate numbers were trash coming from ASU and we showed you. most his stuff was short stuff. hell i think his deep ball rate was worse here than at ASU.

quick question a YES or NO will do.

is JD5 a better downfield passer YES OR NO?

so you feel jayden is a better reader of defenses and has a better downfield ability?

OMG

talk about comparing apples to cantaloupes

good grief man. he will never be on that level. we just need him throwing downfield better than JJ or etling which as of now he is not better nor a better reader of defenses.

i will not even bother or expect him to be like davey, russell, flynn or mauck

but if he cannot be any better than JJ then there is no reason for NUSS or howard to not beat him out

They won the Auburn game in spite of Daniels down right awful play. Guy won us some games, not doubt, but he didn’t win the Auburn or Arkansas games. In fact, both were won in spite of him doing everything to lose them.

He was awful the first 3 quarters of the FSU game and majority of the first half of the MSU game.

Outside of the theee game stretch (UF, Bama, OM), the team’s wins were in spite of him.

Let’s be fair and give him credit where due and not where he didn’t deserve it.
