Trust the Process. Woodward did very well with those first three hirings, so I'll reserve judgement on McMahon until he has a couple recruiting classes of his own under his belt. Let's face facts here. Whether fair or not, Will Wade caused his own downfall.

That’s just flat out wrong if he’s about to be hired by Ole Miss and was completely cleared by the NCAA
LSU fumbled and gave into public pressure to assume guilt of Wade. Had LSU assumed innocent until proven guilty, Wade is here and we’re looking at another NCAA tourney appearance

He lied to the LSU administration.

The administration that gave in to public pressure told you that. Wade didn’t say that. The admin was trying to justify its poor decision
quote:
We can no longer subject our University, Department of Athletics, and -- most importantly -- our student-athletes, to this taxing and already-lengthy process without taking action," university president William F. Tate and athletic director Scott Woodward wrote in an open letter. "Our responsibility to protect and promote the integrity and well-being of our entire institution and our student-athletes will always be paramount."
Here is why they said they fired Wade. Very literally public pressure was too much for them and they gave in to appease the NCAA and the public. Wade was sacrificed to take pressure off their own asses

Meanwhile, LSU athletic director Joe Alleva, who has since stepped down from that role and transitioned to the position of special assistant to the president for donor relations, said in the April 14 announcement of Wade's return the coach "answered all questions and denied any wrongdoing."
"Wade's explanations and clarifications offered during the meeting, absent actual evidence of misconduct, satisfy his contractual obligation to LSU," Alleva said.
He DENIED any wrongdoing!

And he was just cleared of any wrongdoing! Congrats, your entire argument is flawed from the roots

You got a crystal ball?
And completely cleared? Like a statement from the NCAA clearing him of all wrongdoing like Dale Brown got?

Check out the news. Ole Miss could not hire him if he wasn’t cleared with their recent history with Freeze. He’s being seriously considered. Implying he’s cleared. He had a private hearing in the past couple weeks, the implication being he was cleared and schools are being told they can hire him

He PERSONALLY paid a player from a family bank account. That's PROOF of Wrongdoing and that he LIED.
Are you a business owner? Do you keep employees that have blatantly lied to your face? Still trust them going forward?

So no link and no knowledge, just rumors from guys trying to get a scoop probably basing their opinions on TD posts?

But that was before he was hired at LSU. It was already known when hired. Not a Wade defender but don’t make a nonissue an issue.

You're not wrong here but the Wade fanboys will be in here blaming Woodward. They just don't believe in taking personal responsibility for your action. Wade dindu nuffin

You really think that If Wade was cleared of wrongdoing by the NCAA that he wouldn’t be shouting it from the rooftops? You think he wouldn’t be doing a PR press tour to get his recently cleared name back out there?
It doesn’t seem wise to suggest that because he’s linked to the ole piss job that he’s secretly been cleared of any charges. To me it looks more like desperation from Ole Miss to produce a winner than exoneration of Wade.

NDA to prevent embarrassment from the NCAA for the witchhunt

‘Witch-hunt’ might be a strong word considering he’s on tape and lefT a bank trail.
Look, I love Will Wade. I’d take him back in a heartbeat….but we don’t need to pretend he did nothing wrong

It may also be Wade’s way of trying to force the NCAA to act. Have his agent show interest and see if the NCAA shuts it down.

I can see this as a possibility since he’s in NCAA limbo

Cannot lie / obstruct to your leaders.
Bad.

Yet NCAA has been unable to prove fault. The tape is so old they would have proven fault by now if they could
