Is this guy just believed to be the next best LSU Wr or What? Cause IMO looking at his specials teams play and his size very similar to Morris Claiborne, is it just me or does any one else think he would benefit more as a DB like claiborne did? And before you rant I know Landry was rated a 5 star at the WR position.

Just stop with these threads. He's a WR. He's staying there.

Only 20 to go, and you'll have started a thread on every starter.

He could play either, but we need him at WR and his hands and route running are really good.

He is obviously an amazing athlete. And He would play a number of positions well. That being said he is going to be huge at WR. Some of the best hand you'll ever see. Good routes, and a physical blocker.

Just cause I post it doesn't mean you have to read it or comment on it, but I welcome your input both positive and negative. I was simply giving my opinion that maybe he could be even better on defense. I havn't seen many wr hit like he does. Point is with Shep and Boone both choosing to stay, Armand Williams coming along in spring practice, Beckham solidifying his starting spot last yr, Fobbs and Wright as depth and quite a few incoming potential starters that we have some good depth at Wr. Not to mention Miles said he plans to move one of our 150 top caliber running backs to Wr. Just saying it worked for Claiborne why couldn't it work for Landry too?

I think he is needed on offense. We have plenty of great db's, but we r lacking at the WR position. Also, he and Mett are supposedly building great chemistry and I think the move would hurt Mett as far as being comfortable and being familiar with timing. Just my 2 pennies.

hmmmmmm let's see, since our only "elite" WR coming back is probably Odell and a solid RS, I recommend he stays at WR

let's not forget that we still have Eric Reid, Micah Eugene (beast), Poppa Loston, and Ronald Martin!!!!

We have plenty of depth at DB, we'd be dumb to move this stud to DB. Have you seen his HS highlights? He's arguably the best WR to come out of LA in HISTORY

Thanks NEKCIHCUSL the ranters can and will say what they want and they will complain but I assure you it will not phase me or get under my skin. I have been an LSU fan since I was 4 yrs old. I like most consider myself very knowledgeable of this team and of the game itself. I utilize every available opportunity to read up on, watch footage, discuss topics, and listen to various audio clips on whatever events are taking place at real time. Its nice to have a place to geaux and be able to discuss topics i find interesting and believe others may share the same opinions. I also enjoy listening to others opinions on why my thoughts or ideas might not be such a good idea. Having said all that it means a lot that you took my back. Thanks again! Geaux Tigers!!

I may get shot, but i love him on offense, his blocking and ability to hit others reminds me of hines ward. I want that at wr, not prissy divas.

I have a feeling people are gonna be upset when obj and jl are metts favorite targets next season.

I know, I feel the same. I hope they get Shep involved early and often. He deserves to be the man. Now if he starts dropping everything, time to move on.

If he is best suited at WR then Im behind it 100% but the guy is a beast and I wouldn't cringe at his ability to hold his own on the defensive side of the ball. Just hope his increase in offensive plays doesn't eliminate him from special teams play cause he is one of our best gunners!!

If we were lacking db's and heavy at WR, that would be a great match. Like someone else said, his blocking ability and head hunter mind set will be huge on offense. That aggression will lead to extra yardage in the running game. He's gonna ear hole the hell out of a few people this year.

Our program is built off of SUPERIOR ATHLETES than play almost any position of equal skill set.

There are placed into a position that will most benefit the team. Claiborne probably could have been a great receiver if he needed to be

Really now?? Lol please explain to me how you derived such logic? Being as you don't know me from Adam nor do you know anything about my intelligence or educational background. I believe given you have no viable evidence to support such notions such a statement would in fact warrant you the title of "moronic" would you not agree?
